Vampire Knight, Vol. 5 (Vampire Knight #5)
This time around, Zero has been accused of killing his vampire master, so the Senate puts an execution order into place for Zero. It seems like something is developing between Yuki and Zero, and Kaname is getting more intense. We also get a little bit of back story on Shizuki and why she is the way she is (or was, I guess). With Kaname doing some dirty deeds, it'll only take some time until the secret is released...will Yuki ever trust Kaname again?
Even though there was more action and the potential love triangle was starting, I wasn't as invested in this one. I can't quite put my finger on it to be honest. That being said, this series is really ramping up and getting good! I'm totally impressed with how Matsuri Hino is taking this story.
I still like the art, even though there doesn't seem to be much emotion in the characters' faces.
Overall, pretty good! I can't wait to see where this story goes.
Three out of five stars.

AIDO LOL hahahaha. I love the characters that bring such humour into this series. I don't have much else to say, I wish this series had big omnibuses instead of little single volumes, so much more happens when I'm reading omnibuses. But oh well still a good volume.
The plot is thickening. This is where I begin to suspect that there's more to Kaname. Is he truly orchestrating the events? Why? How far does his manipulation extend? Is he plotting for good or evil? Where is this all going???
At the end of the last volume, it was revealed that Shizuka, the vampire who turned Zero, was inhabiting the body of Maria. Shizuka tried to attack Yuki but Zero saved her, at great personal expense. Drinking Shizuka's blood could have kept Zero from going insane as a Level E vampire. But he chose to save Yuki instead.Kaname kills Shizuka. He is not just motivated by revenge. Combining her pureblood blood with his own makes him a much more powerful vampire. It amazes me how much killing there is
This series just keeps getting more and more convoluted and ridiculous the more that I read it. For a few reasons...The art really isn't all that great. Yeah, they are all pretty in a typical shoujo style, but the artist can't vary from like 2 facial types so it's near impossible to tell who is who without having them state their names every time. It doesn't help that all the male vampires wear practically the same uniform either. The storyline is every bad vampire cliche rolled into one. The
Well that was awesome and hella fun!Ostensibly just one epic follow-up to all the events of Volume 5, I still glommed and loved this puppy with all my face. Vampire Knight, WHY YOU SO GOOD?!

3.21 stars The rating and review are conclusion for all of the volumes. Except for the synopsis. Okay..... I AM SUPER DUPER ANNOYED. True, it's not that bad but the way this story end? Gosh, I cannot. Let's just say I'm not really satisfied with how it ends okay? I don't know how to say it. I didn't enjoy Twilight last time. I didn't really enjoy Vampire Knight too. Maybe vampire story is not really for me.Hm, talking about the characters in this story. I could say Cross Yuki, the heroin, is a2.5 Stars
