Write-Up Based On Books The Accidental Genie (Accidentals #7)
I could not get into this book to save my life. This book just tried too damn hard and it failed. It tried too hard with the pop culture references, with the attempt at banter, the crazy drug lord back story, and the whole ending surprise. It was just too much and it didn't work together.

Straight up: This is a really stupid book. And I loved it! It was nothing but fun...a veritable pop culture-palooza. It was fast paced and a bit hard to keep up with the pop references (are they all even real?) but some parts were laugh out loud funny. I feel younger, hipper and invigorated after reading this book. Sure...you could rip it apart with pacing, characters, profanity, lame drug-dealer story line, but whatevah! It is a fun book...sometimes you just have to step back and say WTF and

Review will be posted at www.books-n-kisses.com .NUMBER OF HEARTS: 5REVIEW: Dear Ms. Dakota, Thank you so very much for making me cry, laugh, cringe and have a major case of anxiety. You wrote yet another great Accidental story. But let me just tell you how much I hate when a certain person kept getting the upper hand. Oh did I die just a little. Ugggg!!!!! But I still love you and can not wait for the next adventure into the Accidentals. Oh and what you did to Nina!!! Priceless!!! Pure

The Accidental Genie, Accidentally Friends #7, by Dakota CassidyGrade: BI cant believe you went and got morals. Did you shop online for them?Jeannie Carlye was catering another gig for a client when she decided to open a bottle of gin that would change her life forever. Trapped in the bottle Jeannie does what any girl will do google for help and comes across the OOPS webpage for helping new paranormals adjust to their new lives. Jeannie calls for help never expecting to be stuck to the sexy

This author created a cast of interesting, loveable, endearing characters that carry over from book to book. The problem is she made a mistake in creating one character too powerful. All any of them have to do is mentally "call" their demon friend Darnell and he will instantly appear to help them. But this would be too easy and eliminate the dramatic build up to the climax where the hero not the demon helps save the day. So the heroine of each of the last three books has had to become suddenly

Caterer extraordinaire Jeannie Carlyle is asked to open a rare bottle of Gin at a client's party, but is shocked when a guy in MC Hammer pants pops out, and she gets sucked in to the most filthy bachelor pad of a bottle. She has just enough battery power left on her cell to search the term "paranormal", and the number for OOPS pops up. Werewolf Sloan Flaherty was roped into helping answer phones at OOPS, though he's not too keen on helping distraught women. Sloan ends up being the only one

This series started off bumpy in the first book but it didn't take long for the series to find its balance. Accidental Genie is the 7th book in the series and is one of the better ones.
