Interpretation During Books Quilting with the Muppets (muppets)
This is really two books in one. The first half is templates and instructions for making quilt blocks of the characters (like the ones on the cover). They're designed to be made with a lot of fusible backing, not my favorite method but I think they could be modified for more traditional applique (depending on the material you choose).The second part is a look at the quilts that the people behind the scenes have made for each other to mark major occasions. This is my favorite part of the book, where you get to see a mix of traditional and original blocks working together and being personalized. It's lovely and inspiring.

I wish I did qouilting!I don't know that I will ever make any of the quilt squares in this book, but I like having it. The best part of the book is the pictures of quilts made by workers at the Henson studios- people's creativity just blows me away.
