This guide is better than others, good suplement for those who just watched the movie but for those who red the books this informations are just repeating already known facts about Hunger games, first book.
Obviously this was released with the first Hunger Games movie so I didnt really expect to get too much in the way of new information about the books. It was a fun little read (it only took me about half an hour and most of that was studying the pictures from the movie) but it essentially just told the story in an almost comic book way. One page had a picture of Haymitch and only said He is a notorious drunk. I think the word I would use to sum this book up would be basic. But hey, it was pretty
Much like with the Tribute Guide, this book has nothing new for real fans of The Hunger Games. The book itself looks really nice and includes some pictures I don't remember seeing officially released elsewhere, but it's basically just a summary of the movie (and a bad one at that). It provided completely random pieces of information and then left out other, more worthwhile parts of the storyline (like the changes in rules during the games that allows Katniss and Peeta to team up).
