Narrative Concering Books Hope's Chance

This title is no longer available. A Hope and a Chance is based on the story formally known as Hope's Chance with changes/updates to some character names and information.

When Hope's parents divorced two years ago, her life was turned upside down. To pass the time and avoid family issues, she took extra classes and graduated six months before turning eighteen. After being estranged for more than a year, her father moves back to their hometown. Hope is reluctant to visit him for the first time, but her mother insists.
The visit to his new mansion is not what she expected until she meets the secret guy living in the pool house.
A year ago, Chance Avery was on his way to a law degree courtesy of Penn State University, but something terrible happened. Chance has lost everyone in his life, except for his sister. When she moves to Virginia, he has no choice but to come along. With an agreement to renovate the Mansion, he gets to live in the pool house on the property. His life is boring and meaningless, until one day someone comes barging in his door.
When Hope and Chance run into each other again, they end up spending the night together, thinking they never have to see each other again. Then Hope finds out she has to move in with her father, who has already warned Chance that he is not allowed to touch his daughter.
Staying apart is a lot harder than either of them expected, and soon their feelings intensify to a breaking point, leaving them helplessly in love with one another. Will they be able to hide their relationship until Hope turns eighteen?

Assess Out Of Books Hope's Chance
Let me start by saying"Every girl needs a Chance".Hope was the lucky one to get him and reading their story of true love was honestly addicting.I couldn't separate from my kindle. This story was one of my favorites written by Jennifer Foor.I love that it is a stand alone and Im pretty sure I will read any book she pops out in the future.

This book was SO cheesy. So unrealistic. So overly dramatic. So repetitive. I can almost always finish a book and this one I almost stopped reading. Take the worst teenage drama, add horrible actors, unoriginal plot and over the top, unrealistic dialogue and you've got this book. Painful to read.

I am becoming a huge fan of Jennifer Foor. I have read more than a few books by her and loved them all. She is for sure an author you don't wan to miss. Great read.

Okay.. so I definitely liked this story.. Hope and Chance were really good together.. And I thought that just like every story with a young step-mother/girlfriend clinging to the heroines' father I would hate her.. But not! Buffy was actually adorable and I loved her! Now that's a first! What I didn't like are the extreme adult content.. It was just too much if you ask me that my eyes burn each time I have to read them.. Anyway, this is a good book to read!

27% done and I just HAVE to write a review. *Spoiler Alert*One word for the first few chapters:Unrealistic. Lost respect for Hope when she acted like a slut and slept with a stranger because hes hot and "saved her life" *rolling my eyes*. Lost respect for Chance when he had sex with her knowing she was intoxicated, he didn't use a condom, not knowing if she was on birth control! Douchy idiotic move. Lost respect for the book when you created this "special connection" *sarcastic voice* the

T Think Hope's Chance is a sweet story but way too cheesy and sappy for me.I found it very disturbing how a 17 year old was portraid as almost a porn star. I'm not against Young Adult or even New Adult genre, I just dont think this was a book that represented a mature strong young woman. Hope's character was just a whiny irritating and horny girl.I would have prefered to read the entire book from Chance's POV.2 stars.

This is a sweet story but far too cheesy for me. Also the language used really annoyed me. It was all: I am, we are, I will instead if I'm, we're, I'll etc. it just got tedious. Also it seems that when you hit 18, magically you're an adult and your parents just do and say exactly what you want them too. I don't remember it quite like that.
