Entertaining...Caught UpOver the past few years Leahs relationship with her boyfriend, Kenny, has been crumbling. The one thing that she once admired about him, his ability to hustle and the lifestyle it provided, is now taking its toll. If its not one hustle, its another and his latest hustle involved Leah. It also involved her arrest. Sitting in jail definitely can change ones perspective on things. Now realizing Kenny means her no good, she agrees to become an informant for the police. In my honest opinion, this is my least favorite book of Miasha. It is not her normal page turning writing. The characters were not exciting and after much anticipating I will say this book left me wanting more. I did read the book in 2 days but it was in anticipating it would be like her other books.....
Good read, I like the way Leah and Nasir gave in to their attention for one another. Kenneth got what he deserved. He was ruthless from the beginning and very selfish. It took a realty check for Leah to realize she was being used by him and that he would use her to save himself at any coast.
Horrible. One of the most predictable books I have read in a long time, no depth to the characters, and sadly, one of the dumbest female characters in any book I have read to date. This book was just a complete waste of time. There has to be more to a book than just grimy sex and a few scenes where someone gets shot. The plot has to go deeper than that or else what makes your book different from every other Urban book out there. It's like if you've read one, you have read them all.
