I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I am a huge fan of this author & this book is another hit. In this book we meet Dante Sinclair and Sarah Baxter. Dante is a LA homicide detective and when this book starts out he is coming home to Amesport, Maine to recover after a shooting that injured him and killed his partner. Dante feels like he deserves the pain from her injuries because he feels liked he should have been the one to die not his partner. What he has is survivors guilt
