Yutkunup
gönderiyorduk hepsini. Nereye gideceklerse oraya… Sınırdan sınıra ticaret… Duvardan duvara…”

I tried to get through this book. It's been on my list for a long time now, and I really thought there would be some important insight to be had, but I just could not find it. I put it down about half way through and read another book for a break from the cruelty, then picked it back up. I got about 3/4 of the way through and just called it quits.I received this book through "Good Reads". This is a dark and disturbing novel dealing with human suffering, both physical and psychological. The author's talent magnifies the reader's discomfort, while experiencing a unique book. It deals with the Refugee crisis, addiction and mental illness among other topics. This book is suitable for strong minded individuals, willing to explore a unique part of the world.
Wow ... shocking book. If you want to learn more about the underbelly of the refugee crisis and the traffickers and smugglers who moving people from Point A to Point B, this is a great book. I was continually a genuinely shocked by how well the author was able to surprise me with plot twists that were completely unexpected. Sometimes it would take 30-40 pages to experience it, but one time I was shocked by a sentence, and then again in the following sentence! This is not a happy story. A young
not about refugee crisis as advertised.
Such a though read, if I was not completely relaxed on a beach I would not see this to the end, I had to digest each section for a certain period before moving on but hell, it was worth it, what a writer! Human psychology as never read before, time to meet the monster living in all of us.The cover is horrible.
Some parts of the book are very cleverly written and deserves at least 4 stars, but there are parts that which was unnecessarily added to book and made book longer than it is supposed to be - in my opinion. If those parts were not there, than I would give at least 4 stars ..
This book isn't for the faint of heart. It's first 3/4s are as difficult as anything I've ever read. The last half of the book slows down quite a bit, but overall it was a satisfying read.
