Immortal Embrace is not like a Twilight movie or book. There are more than just vampires, there are witches as well. The author did research of places as most authors don't. The book held me to the edge of my seat and I finished it the day I got it. It was nice to see that there were more than just vampires, but with the witches it give it more pizazz. I was chosen as a teen test reader prior to publication and... wow! I read this book in 6 hours and I just couldn't put it down! This book made the characters come to life and it felt as if I was watching a movie of it in my head and honestly I liked it better then twilight! I recommend this book to young adults, teens, adults and really just anyone who like vampire romance and it even throws in a little bit of witches for you. When I first read the synopsis I couldn't wait to read it. But when I got it the cover looked very cheap, with the writing being very blurry.I found it very difficult to read due to its style of writing. It was very uncomfortable. It lacked emotion and it wasn't very conversational when the characters were interacting, it wasn't believable. I was very surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this book. It was good, but I do have a few complaints. The italicized thoughts were a little annoying. Some things were a little repetitious especially when it came to Sophia's inner thoughts. Sophia's emotions and thoughts could be condensed and shown more than told. A little bit of the dialogue seemed awkward and staged. The book is somewhat similar to Twilight, but it is hard to break out of that shell with a vampire book.**Be Warned,
