So short!! Poor Cloudstar! I'm mad at the other Clans for not helping SkyClan! After everything that's happened. This is a sad story and very short, because it definitely leaves the reader wondering what will happen to Cloudstar's family and clan.. It was like.. Goodbye. the end.

Very detailed and useful.

Wonderful! Tragic, but wonderful.

Loved Cloudstar as a character, and would have loved a longer story involving him/his clan. Already knowing the ending, this could have had a better focus or at least a more interesting plot/arc, teaching us more about the state of the clans back then. Also, (close to) naming two kits noticable after known thunderclan medicine cats, for then to give them to thunderclan, seems like a dumb idea if they aren't those ery cats, so that's dissapointing, but yeah, otherwise a fine novella.

I liked this, but it wasn't what I expected. I fully didn't read the description and was going by the title, so that's on me, but I thought this would be partly about what drove Skyclan out and then partly about the journey. Instead, it's entirely about their last weeks in the forest and ends as their journey leaving the gathering starts. I wish this was even just another few chapters longer so we could have seen some of the journey.
