5000 pages may seem long but it s such a pleasure to read that i do it every 3 to 4 years. I love those booksI read this series of books first when I was around 15. In French. Now, Ive read the whole series as many times as there are books in it, at least; and I own it in Norwegian. Its epic and fabulous and amazing. A story of a hundred years in one family, viewed through the eyes of single family members through the decades.
