Critique Epithetical Books Castle Grey - A Katt and Mouse Mystery (Katt and Mouse Mystery #1)
This was a pleasant surprise. A complex plot, believable and sympathetic characters, well-handled sexual tension, an intelligent twist on the serial killer trope and some dialogue so electric, you can see the sparks.Special Agent Katt and Mickey (Mouse) James are on the same side, at least when it comes to work. Trying to find the connection between apparently unconnected murders, they make progress and score points at a similar pace. Meanwhile, a very twisted individual is looking for lab

I don't mind the occasional typo, but early in the novel, I came across major language errors that should have been picked up during editing, e.g. "It destroyed there lives" and "The living room of her parent's home" (she definitely had two parents who lived together). In addition, parts of words or sentences were sometimes repeated. Such blatant errors always give me a bad feeling about a book. The story line itself isn't bad but the writing is mechanical and the dialogue doesn't sound natural.

Absolutely loved this book! Loved the characters, loved the story line, and can not wait for a second book to come out. Thank you so very much for allowing me to be a first-reader through goodreads.com!

Lannie Wright is a crazy level of talented. This book was awesome. The characters are amazing. The story line was fantastic. If you haven't read this yet...you definitely should.

A good read. A little confusing with the back and forth between the two story lines to start but eventually they are tied together and add to the suspense. The main characters are described so well that they come alive and the reader can easily visualize them and their actions. A few plot twists and fast-paced action make this an enjoyable and quick book to read -- you won't want to put it down. FBI Agent Katherine Katt goes to Monterey, CA to determine whether there is a serial killer at work.

Not just a book I could not put down but a world that I became involved with. The plot was large in a natural way and much better than anything you could see on T.V. it was written so well the characters become alive in your heart and mind and you are able to see them. The characters unique with each being very much their own person; moves the story along in a perfected pace. Two agents coupled together in seeking and stopping a very clever serial killer; who alone scares you in the thought, one
