One of my infrequent 5 star reviews for this beautifully written story about two east Indian sisters who after years of angry separation must come together to save the life of one of their children. The story is rich with culture and colorful descriptions of the life of poor families in India. The sisters swore to love each other best for life but when they both fall in love with the same boy their stark differences shape the outcome of the two failed romances. Loved this book. I have read all 5 books by Renita D'Silva and loved them all. This was my final one to read and it didn't disappoint . Cant wait for her next book out.

Really enjoyed this and raced through it! Beautifully descriptive and loved the use of the letters to allow the story to unfold. Tugs at the heartstrings - particularly the relationships between Raj and Puja. Highly recommended.
