Crit Out Of Books Savor (Warm Delicacy #1)
Amongst dozens of vampire based Young Adult novels there is always one in a dozen that stands out amongst them. This is one in that dozen that stands out the most with its bright maroon/red cover and the amazing mix of dystopian, modernization, monarchy and vampires. In the beginning we meet our main character Claire as she gets ready for her issuing of her Donor ID now that she's 18. In this world Megan created for us, we all each live in different regions wherein a vampire King reins amongst

This was an ok read.I feel as though it could have been written so much better, but overall the plot is a great plot to start with it just wasn't written very well.I think this book was slow, and some details were cliche in a way, but overall could be something great.I will read the rest of the series sometime later to see if this author has improved in the writing portion, but overall I give a 3.5 star rating

Loved loved loved this book! So unique than anything I have ever read. Also, being super short and exciting every page of the way! Highly recommend ! Can't wait to read book2

***May contain spoilers*** This is the second book that I have read by Megan Duncan (my first being "Released") and as such I find it difficult not to compare the two. One of my largest complaints about "Released" was that I found the book to be lacking in description (Megan's writing style was very to the point, with little dilly-dallying to it) and therefore I had a difficult time connecting to scenes, however I did not find myself experiencing that feeling whatsoever as I read this book-

Let me first start by saying I read Megan's book, Released a while back and did a review on it so when she contacting me to read her newest book, Savor - I was thrilled to be able to read another one of her books and Savor was all that I hoped it would be and more! I loved the whole idea of the beginning of the book. Where in the world, humans know about Vampires and respect them. Once a human turns 18 years of age they are required to donate blood at a local blood bank to help provide food for

I was all too happy to join the blog tour for Savor, having read and enjoyed Megan Duncan's first book, Released. But I have to say, I loved Savor much more than Released!I haven't read any vampire books lately, and so I jumped into Savor with a clean slate and was thoroughly surprised. Megan Duncan's writing style has vastly improved from Released, transforming from 'good' to great! Her prose flowed nicely, and Claire's narration was distinctly hers. Plus, the vampire world that Megan has

http://bookbreather4lyfe.blogspot.comMegan Duncan created a brilliant piece of work here. A combination of a unique and interesting plot, fun characters, and an intriguing world create an enthralling read for every paranormal lover out there. When I first began blogging, Megan sent me an eCopy of her debut, Released. It was the first self-published book I had ever read. I absolutely adored it. When she told me she was writing a vampire book and asked me to be a part of the tour, I jumped on the
