this is 4 books in one but a quick read under 200 pagesThis is a story of Angie and her friends,She is the last in the line of a clan of witches/vampires.The dark side know about this and try to kill herShe has a Guardian that has to train her ready for a war that will comeThis book has loads of twist and turns in it and who you can trust and I ones that are close to that you cantI cant wait for the next book to come out to find out what happen to them allthank you LD for letting me read theI gave this 5*s out of 5*s because I thought it was a cute little story and great characters. It got straight to the point with very little details! I like stories that get straight to the point. There could have been a little more action but I believe that the way the story ended that there maybe more action in the next one.
This short story has a good story-line, with action and intrigue. The characters are personable and readable carrying you along with the story. The twists and turns leave you wanting more, with creative writing makes this a good read.

This is the first book Ive read by L.D. Hutchinson. Its about Avangeline, who is quickly pushing to a world she never knew existed and finds out she is not as normal as she thought she was. When I started reading I have to say that the Prologue was a little confusing to me. After a beginning it and getting lost in the rush of it, I skipped the remainder of it and went on to reading the first chapter and enjoyed the book. Besides the prologue the only drawback I would say is that it was too
Shadows in the Dark is LD Hutchinson's debut novella, the first of a series encompassing a novel.LD Hutchinson has an intriguing concept with Shadows in the Dark. She's combined vampires and witches in a very novel way to my knowledge thus far, though we don't know much more than that. Why? Well, I was hoping this book wouldn't be only the first part of a bigger novel, given its price, but it was at just under 16 thousand words, which makes for a disappointing ending simply for the fact that I
I got pulled right in from the beginning;)!!I am enjoying the book, love the authors writing and getting to know the characters as I progress. Update when finished ;)!!I read this book in one day and am waiting for the next installment of this series. I was glad to hear its going to be 5-6 books (I personally would cut it to a trilogy with more words per book) however I'm not a writer just a reader. The paranormal genre always was a fascination for me because anything can happen and it's up to
was a bit confusing at first but was a great start to what is going to be a really good series! there were a few parts that didn't quiet have an explanation as to why but im hoping they will be in the next book.can't wait to read the next one to see what happens next to Angie and what Phoenix has planned for her
