Honest, straightforward, almost too revealing about what having a spinal cord injury entails. Great story of persistence. Also, I wrote it, so of course I am always going to claim to love it.

Dr. Monique Koll is a south Louisiana veterinarian, mother, triathlete, professional speaker, Realtor, and active transportation advocate, in chronological order. Oh, and now author. Partially paralyzed from being hit on her bicycle by an unlicensed driver, she has become nationally known for her passion for racing and her advocacy work for vulnerable road users. She is the President of both theHonest, straightforward, almost too revealing about what having a spinal cord injury entails. Great story of persistence. Excellent ReadHeartfelt account of overcoming a tragedy without fluff. Down to earth and incredibly insightful. Couldn't put it down. Would recommend to all.

A tough story about a survivor who faced her ultimate challenge, a debilitating spinal cord injury suffered during an innocent bike ride. This is both uplifting an challenging.
